The exec application for the next year's drone club is now open https://www.bnsdroneclub .ca/exec-app! The entire current executive team is grade 12s, so we're looking for a group of capable individuals to run the club as a new team in the next 2021/2022 school year. The application deadline is April 19th, 2021.

Signup for the second flight session is now open! We'll be meeting to fly sometime next week. Again, you MUST sign up at the following link to attend: https://www.bnsdroneclub.ca/flight-session-signup

For those of you who signed up for the first flight session you've already been pinged on Discord and should be aware of which group you've been assigned. Tomorrow is Group 1 and Friday will be Group 2.

We've also scheduled new online meetings up until spring break. The first one will be Thursday Jan. 7th at 4:45PM and alternating every other Thursday. The full schedule is on the updates page.

The new yearbook photo date is Wednesday Jan. 13th at 3:40PM.

The link for the first flight session signup is https://www.bnsdroneclub.ca/flight-session-signup. You MUST signup here to be able to attend one of the in-person meetings. We need to organize specific small groups so everyone planning to attend needs to be accounted for. If you missed the meeting yesterday I highly recommend taking a look at the meeting content on the archive page. Some of the things we talked about are crucial advice for first-time drone pilots.

This is a reminder that we have a meeting tomorrow at 4:45PM. We will be teaching you the basics of drone piloting and an exclusive signup link for in-person flight sessions will be revealed.

We've also changed the regular meeting time to 4:45PM. Next meeting is Dec. 17.

We have decided that we are going to hold meetings on Thursdays after school every other week. The first meeting will be held on Dec 3 at 4PM on Discord (join here if you haven't done so already). Our executive team has decided that we are going to hold online meetings on Discord (JOIN HERE)! All announcements moving forward will be emailed, posted on the website and sent on Discord. We have yet to decide on the meeting day.
